Boulder Community Hospital (BCH) expanded its orthopedic service lines and wanted to promote the new services on their website
Creating valuable website content was the strategy we took and it paid off. BCH now supplies the community with resources for hip and knee pain treatments. And that’s probably the main reson these pages landed at the top of Google local search engine results.
We wrote all content and optimized pages for local SEO. We rolled out the hip treatment web pages first. Since BCH liked that project so much, we were asked to create the knee treatment section.
- Web page content strategy – The web pages contain much information for hip and knee pain treatments, including but not limited to surgery. Pages listing orthopedists, along with their expertise, ranked high on Google quickly. This strategy established the hospital as a resource for the local community and search engines.
- Search engine optimization – SEO best practices were used to optimize web pages for search engines. Bad SEO shortcuts were avoided, such as using too many search terms in content or buying links from unknown websites to BCH’s website.
- Video and illustrations – We used multimedia so website visitors could more easily understand a complicated surgery. For a more pleasant user experience, illustrations were used instead of “live surgery” footage.
